The Boxboro Regency is at 242 Adams Pl., Boxborough, Massachusetts, just a couple minutes off Exit 28 on I-495.

    From inside I-495:

If you are outside Rt. 128, North of Boston, near I-93, US Rt. 3, or MA Rt. 2, follow those to I-495 South. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, crossing the highway, on Rt. 111 East. Less than half a mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

If you are further East than I-93, figure out if you are closer to I-495 (see above) or Rt. 128 (see the next instructions).

If you are West of Boston and close to the Pike, take it to I-495 North. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, on Rt. 111 East. Less than a quarter mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

If you are outside 128 and South of Boston, you may want I-495 or Rt. 128. Brockton, for example, is about the same either way. But your goal is Exit 28 off I-495, turning right onto Rt. 111 East, then less than half a mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

    From the North and Northeast:

Take I-95 (Portland, ME or Portsmouth, NH, for example), I-93 (Salem, NH), or US Rt. 3 (Manchester or Nashua, NH) South to I-495 South. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, crossing the highway, on Rt. 111 East. Less than half a mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

    From the Northwest:

Take Rt 2 (Greenfield or Fitchburg, MA, for example) to I-495 South. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, crossing the highway, on Rt. 111 East. Less than half a mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

    From the near West:

Take I-290 (Worcester, MA, for example) to I-495 North. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, on Rt. 111 East. Less than a quarter mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

    From farther West:

Take I-90 East - the Mass Pike (Albany, NY, Hartford CT via I-86), or Sturbridge, MA, for example) to Exit 10, following signs for I-290 East. Follow I-290E for 19.7 miles, staying left at Exit 26B, onto the ramp for I-495 North. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, on Rt. 111 East. Less than a quarter mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

    From the South and Southeast:

Take I-95 North (Providence, RI), MA Rt. 24 North (Fall River, MA), or US Rt. 44 West (Plymouth, MA), to I-495 Nprth. Follow I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right, on Rt. 111 East. Less than a quarter mile later, turn right onto Adams Pl. Stay to the right at the fork (there's a sign), and follow the road until you see the hotel on your left.

Flying in for the Congress, you have three major options:

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, NH (MHT) is about a 40 minute drive from the Boxboro Regency. Mostly, the traffic is predictable. Security is usually quick and easy.

Logan International, in Boston, MA (BOS) is 45 - 65 minutes away. The traffic is highly variable, even away from rush hour. Flights are generally less expensive, but security coming back into is is longer. The clear choice for international travel.

We may arrange transportation from these two airports to the Regency. Those details have not been worked out.

T.F. Greene Regional Airport in Warwick, RI is usually a 60-80 minute drive, but can blow up to 2 hours. We don't recommend it.

Taking the Train to the Congress is non-trivial:

There is a commuter rail station (Littleton/495) about 4 miles from the Boxboro Regency. If you are staying at the hotel, they have a shuttle that can pick you up (and drop you off), but only during specific hours. The Congress staff may be able to retrieve you, as well. The trip from the South Station Terminal runs 75-90 minutes, usually. This station is on the Fitchburg Line. Here is its schedule.

Otherwise, trains into Boston and Worcester are generally time consuming and not even much more economical.
